Strap in for This Hurricane Solution

Strapped down tighter than my last relationship.

Since it’s hurricane season, it’s time to talk about the Florida Manâ„¢ who strapped his house to the ground last October! Is this a good idea? Is it worth $20k? It’s hard to say, but the photos are definitely worth a gander.

If you don’t have $20k lying around, and want to do something that might be even more effective than strapping your dwelling down like a Christmas tree on a car, get prepared for disasters at the low, low price of $139.95.

Read the full story of Pedro Casares’ creative approach to hurricane preparedness at the Daily Mail or watch the video below.

He collected some haters, but as far as we know, his house is still standing, so maybe we can learn something from Florida Manâ„¢ this time. He lived through the first hurricane that came for his home in Puerto Rico, so we can’t blame him for taking action at his current home in Florida.

Since it’s all going down in Orlando, there’s a joke somewhere in here about ratchet behavior, but we’re too preoccupied with getting ready for the next hurricane to make it. Be like Pedro! Get prepared already!
