Landing Page – Do you have normalcy bias?
Do you have normalcy bias?
4 out of 5 people do.
It is a trick where your brain tells you:
“It won’t happen to me.”
“I don’t need to prepare for disasters.”
“My life will continue just as it is.”
Normalcy bias leads people to minimize threat warnings. And so they don’t prepare for them.
Threat warnings like extreme weather. Floods, hurricanes, wildfires. Devastation in your state or even your city.
These are warnings that your brain isn’t taking seriously, and that’s a cognitive error.
Fight normalcy bias with The Disaster Playbook.

It’s not your typical emergency prep. It’s honest, a little irreverent (there’s a touch of profanity), and it’s designed to make you laugh while you get ready for the unexpected.
Get your ducks in a row before disaster strikes. Your brain might not think you should, but Future You will be happy you did.

“I created the Here Comes the Apocalypse after watching multiple families lose their homes to wildfires.
“I saw what they went through, and what would have made the difference if they’d planned ahead.
“Please take some time and prepare your family. Do it for Future You. Hopefully you won’t need it, but just in case.”
We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but extreme weather is here to stay.
