Its portable, making it a better fit for emergency situations, and it’s small enough that oversize shipping costs don’t skyrocket the price, as is the case with the non-portable 55-gallon barrels. Each heavy duty barrel is made of thick, light blocking, BPA-free, food grade plastic. A great addition to any emergency prepper supply.
